Christians: Why does God want us to keep going in a godless world, even though it will never change/get worse?

I have no idea, sometimes I wonder about religion altogether and the possibility that everything might not be as its been taught to all of us. But then again doesn't the Bible warn against those who decieve? I just don't know anymore either, I know how you feel, its sad and crazy in my opinion.
