IN THE LIGHT OF THIS INCIDENT - WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING IN AFGHANISTAN?

I'm can't think when last I've been so ferkin angry! An article on page 41 of the UK Times newspaper (Saturday Aug 29, 2009) reveals the situation when troops under the command of Capt. Josh Jones of the Royal Irish were threatened by their so-called allies the Afghan National Army. It seems the Taliban having occupied a civilian village and engaging the Irish were met with returning fire. During this firefight an Afghan young girl was shot in the head obviously by the Irish. Her father said, (Quote) -" It's not your fault, it's the war." However, the Afghan Army contingent ****** their weapons and aimed them at the Irish. Please - World - try to read this article by downloading timesonline.co.uk. I just hope you will agree with me - we really need to get the Hell out of there and let 'em stew in their own shite. Either that or forcibly disarm this bunch of officially recognised savages. I had a similar experience in Cyprus in the 1960's, that's probably why I'm so stirred up by this. Many thanks in anticipation!
