Period late, could I be pregnant?!?!?!?

My period was due on Wednesday and today is Saturday with no sign of af or any pms symptoms!!! OMG could this be my month for a BFP??? I need lots of baby dust and prayers!!! I am sick at home with the flu but getting my bfp would really cheer me up!!! I tested yesterday morning and got a negative but still no period so maybe that was too early? Are any of y'all waiting on a late period too?
