Why can we not get a loan ?
The trouble may be that he applied to a few companies. A lot of applications in a short time send up red flags to lenders. As you are not in financial trouble, you could try your local credit union. The normal procedure is that you join up and begin saving weekly until you may apply for a loan - usually somewhere around 10 weeks. By then you will have built up a track record for reliability, and you are unlikely to be refused. If you save the same amount weekly, they know you can afford to pay this much without hardship and they will try to keep repayments around the same figure. Over one year, it would cost around $62 weekly to repay, and over 3 years about $24 weekly
